Well it was definitely a pride in representing your country in the very traditional way.
It is definitely a question that how many of souls will believe in it but it is a fact that saree is one of the elegant wardrobe in the world. It makes any woman just look beautiful, provided they wear it in right manner. It is world wide known fact that Indian women possess amazing grace in their personality.
Like everyone on the earth knows that India is multilingual, multi regional, multi cultural country. If any time of your life if you visit India you will be left perplexed. As there is such a huge diversity that is found in food, wardrobe and language. With an every another turn of street you will find change in food, clothes and languages.In the very similar manner the way of wearing differs. We have mentioned you all the different styles of wearing saree.
Maharashtrian way of saree:
At very first start circling the saree at the navel, place the plain end of the saree hooked on the petticoat and keep it inserting till you take a full turn from right to left. Confirm the length of the saree till the bottom of your foot and thus it won’t display the petticoat.Clutch the top border of the saree which is the anchal and bring it all around your hips to the front side and over your left shoulder.The anchal is made to hang down from back to the knee. You may brooch your anchal to your sari blouse.Then start making pleats. There should be at least seven to ten pleats, clutch them all together so that they fall straight. Insert the pleats into the waistline of petticoat from somewhat to the left of the navel and while doing so always assure to take care and see that the pleats are turned towards the left. Lastly the anchal that is the remaining section of the fabric is rounded all over the body again and then wrapped over the left shoulder. Assemble the pleats on this part of the saree and then pin them up on the left shoulder.
Bengali Saree:
Bengali old fashioned saree looks very simple when wore. Their style consists of less folds and tucks and this is all what it makes the simplest way. Well you need to start by gathering and inserting the saree around your waistline. Then always remember going left from your navel, as there is many times that the females gets confuse and start from the wrong direction. Then wrap round your backside and get back to your navel from your right.Now cross all that lingering fabric over to your left once more which will make one single fold and keeps it tucking in your back, just over your left hip. Insert in the portion that just covered your waistline on the left. At this point the bottom of the saree will be up most.Cross it all over in forepart once and iterate that single small fold and tuck over your right hip at the backside. Put in the segment that has passed your midsection.One more time now turn the saree in right way. Pull it from the tucked part of the right side of the body and wrap it over your breast while resting the extra fabric on your left shoulder. And then let it keep waving.Well now take the waving fabric and start it folding into neat pleats on your shoulder but while performing this act please don’t stretch the material too tightly as it actually looses the grace. They need to be hanged in such a way that it is comfortable for you. As you’re done with the plaits brooch it to the blouse firmly so that it doesn’t fall.Just be assured that the stylish border of your saree hangs upright downwards to the left of your knee.Always make it sure that the fall you have stitched should be in from the inner side of the saree and it should never be displayed. Throw it over your shoulder.The anchal always fall inequitably from your frontage which makes this entire attire look beautiful.One more to add you tie up some keys to the anchal that gives a effective touch to your saree.
Gujarati Saree:
Even though by tradition, Gujarati women wear two-piece attire which is carved with kutchi work but there is a classic way in which the five and half meter saree is wrapped in Gujarat.It is very much similar to the nivi style with the free end being clothed over the right shoulder rather than the left. The Gujarati saree is cloaked in the Indian style but the anchal is donned wrong way round.
Tamilnadu Saree:
Tamilnadu is highly famous as The Land of Rich Silk Saree. Already being rich in culture they hugely follow the Indian traditions.The sari here is complemented with a pleated rosette which is endured around the waistline.Usually the women wear the traditional Indian style of saree but they possess their own Tamil style known as ‘Madisar’ which is a nine meter saree.
There are two different styles of enduring this rich saree in Tamil Nadu:
The Iyengar style saree is donned across the waist which is then landed backside neatly pleated. Well in few area of Karnataka spinsters be dressed in a 'half-saree' that is known as 'daavani' which is a customary long skirt and blouse. The veil is draped from the waistline and fixed on the left shoulder which makes it look like saree.No doubt there is a distinctive style that is found in Coorg and Chick Mangalore districts of Karnataka.The female species adorn the saree in an unusual manner. In Coorg the saree is donned with plaits at the backside. The front section is left plain and smartly puckered just about the waistline. The left behind length of the saree is draped around the breast which is then got to the right shoulder and fixed descending. The very another way is seen in Chick Mangalore is alike to the Coorg style, the only dissimilarity is that the location plicate which are maintained in the front side.
Kerala Saree:
Kerala is known as the city of god have mesmerized by the tradition of boat race, beautiful flower carpets and lip smacking delicacies and thus the traditional apparel also has a unique ways.Kerala Saree is exclusively found in cream colored saree with golden Zari border. The fair sex in Kerala is regularly seen enduring this saree in the Indian style with a green or red blouse. The traditional garb usually consist of two pieces of cream colored cloth from which one of them is circled around the waistline and the other is draped on the shoulder
